Ballard Power Systems confirmed shipment of the company's first 100 ElectraGen fuel cell power generation systems to Cascadiant Inc. and Inala Technologies, Ballard distributors in Southeast Asia and South Africa, respectively. Shares dropped nearly 7 per cent and hit new year lows yesterday.

D-BOX Technologies Inc. shares lost four per cent yesterday and announced today its third deal with Larry H. Miller Megaplex Theatres to install its motion-control seating set-up at six screens in four locations in Utah. Considering this latest announcement with Larry H. Miller, recent announcements provide for the installation of D-BOX MFX Systems at over 20 additional screens with existing customers over the next several months.

Lara Exploration Ltd. has entered into a strategic alliance agreement with Antofagasta Minerals S.A. Lara will manage the exploration during the alliance phase.

Wheels Group Inc. said comprehensive income for the second quarter was $0.7-million or $0.01 per share, compared with comprehensive income for the same period in prior year of $0.9-million or $16.4 per share.
