Housing analyst Ben Rabidoux says here that it's difficult to see where a turnaround in the Toronto condo market will come from, in the short term.

The straight goods on investing
The Canadian Foundation for Advancement of Investor Rights, or FAIR, is an independent, non-profit agency that advocates for better treatment of investors. FAIR has just created an investor resources page on its website and it's well worth a visit if you're interested in learning more about topics like fees, fraud, leverage (borrowing to invest...bad idea) and financial literacy.

The squeaky wheel lets fly
The furniture store delivered the wrong couch to this blogger. Her attempt to get the store to make it right is chronicled here in a post called Know When to be a Squeaky Wheel.

Now for the risk of speaking out against a company you feel has wronged you. A man is being sued for $150,000 by his insurance company after he started a blog to draw attention to the insurer's tactics in dealing with a fire at his home.
