BBC News provides this concise explanation of why investors should care about the big recent decline in the U.S. bond market.

A case is made here that the setback for the bond market last month was a preview of what's coming as interest rates make a sustained move higher.

Some thoughts on how things may not be as bad as some think for bonds.

The same forces driving bonds lower also hurt the price of low volatility exchange-traded funds, which have been marketed as a way of getting exposure to the stock market with less severe ups and downs.
