You're not paying bank fees, are you?
A rundown on three options for no-cost chequing accounts. One not mentioned here is to maintain a set balance, maybe $3,000 or $5,000 in your account. Some banks will waive fees on certain accounts if you do this. Seniors and students may also qualify for no-fee chequing.
