The Company has undergone numerous name changes since incorporation and on 21 July 2008 the Company changed its name to Lions Gate Metals, Inc. The Company is a mineral exploration company principally engaged in acquiring, exploring and evaluating natural resource properties in North America. The Company's material property is the Poplar Property, where the Company has a 100% interest in the 196 mineral claims, and it is situated in the Omineca Mining Division of British Columbia. The Company also has several other properties, including the ROK-Coyote Property, located in the Stikine Arch region of northwestern British Columbia; the Hudson Bay Mountain Property, located near Smithers, British Columbia; the Kelly Creek Property; and the Copperline Property. The Company is subject to the laws and regulations relating to environmental matters in all jurisdictions in which it operates, including provisions relating to property reclamation, discharge of hazardous materials and other matters.
