Buff up on the art, history and practical applications of all things deceptive at Camouflage, a recently opened exhibition at London's Imperial War Museum. The exhibit, running until Nov. 18, goes far beyond smudges of green and black in four themed sections: Conceal, Distort, Disguise and Deceive, and Advertise. It explores the development of early military camouflage from the First World War through to its use in popular culture today. Afterward, head downstairs for the museum's Blitz experience, where a shaking bunker simulates the experience of an air raid, and then walk through a re-creation of a First World War trench.
