Actress Lindsay Lohan was treated for exhaustion and dehydration by paramedics who rushed to her hotel room on Friday, but she is "fine," her spokesman said.
"Producers were concerned when she did not come out of her room and called paramedics as a precaution. Lindsay was examined and is fine, but did suffer some exhaustion and dehydration," her spokesman Steve Honig said in a statement.
"Lindsay was never taken to a hospital; reports to the contrary are false. She is resting now and is hoping to be back on set later this afternoon," Honig said.
A Los Angeles television station first reported that the 25-year-old actress, who has struggled with drug and alcohol addiction in the past, was found unconscious and rushed to a hospital.
The report raised alarm because Lohan has been in and out of trouble since a 2007 arrest for drug possession and driving under the influence of alcohol. Since then, speculation in Hollywood has been rampant that the star might join a long list of celebrities who have succumbed to addictions.
Lohan has been working on a TV movie, Liz and Dick, about the storied romance of actors Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.
In his statement, Honig said the actress had "worked a grueling schedule the past few days. She was on set last night at 7 p.m. and worked through the night until 8 a.m. this morning. She took a nap before shooting her final scene," Honig said.
