Kim and Kanye’s lavish May wedding in Italy boasted everything from a giant gold toilet box to headless life-sized marble nudes, but a ceremony in Canada may have just outshone Kimye’s nuptials in the entertainment department.

On Sunday, Justin Bieber did some serious serenading with Carly Rae Jepsen at his manager’s wedding in Whistler.

Scooter Braun, the American manager behind Bieber and Jepsen, married cancer-charity maven Yael Cohen at a ceremony bursting with celebrities in British Columbia, US Weekly reports.

In a set-up that was eerily reminiscent of a Love Actually scene, Bieber sang All You Need Is Love by The Beatles during the ceremony. Braun’s friend Thomas McLeod posted an Instagram video that shows the pop star standing at the back of the audience and singing along to the live accompaniment of flute, guitar and trumpet players who are also in the crowd.

And if that wasn’t enough entertainment, the Boyfriend-singer later took to the stage with Jepsen to perform a gleeful duet of her award-winning single Call Me Maybe. Neither star seemed particularly concerned with delivering all the lyrics, but in this second Instagram video from McLeod, Bieber and Jepsen are definitely having a good time.

The bride, South African-born Cohen, is known for the her cancer charity Fuck Cancer, which she started after her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009.

Bieber and Jepsen weren’t the only celebrity wedding singers. Asher Roth and Ed Sheeran performed a rendition of Blackstreet’s No Diggity after the “I dos,” Complex Magazine reports. Asher Roth’s first single I Love College was released in 2009. Sheeran wrote a song for The Fault in Our Stars, the best-selling young adult fiction novel turned box-office-hit movie.

A number of other stars were in attendance, including Tom Hanks, One Tree Hill actress Sophia Bush and singer Christina Perri.

Perri tweeted a photograph with Sheeran using the hashtag #weddingsingers, but it was the Saving Mr Banks-star who gave the most unexpected performance. Bieber posted a video to Instagram of Hanks getting down on the dance floor while wearing a yarmulke and singing along to This is How We Do It, the 1995 song that made Montell Jordan a star.

Bieber commemorated the nuptials with a quick Instagram fashion shoot in the natural surroundings. The star, in mourning over the death of his super fan Alicia Tamboia, US Weekly suggests, wore a black suit and fedora. Tamboia was killed in a car accident in New York on July 4, Hollywood Life reports.

Call Me Maybe won a Juno for single of the year but Jepsen has yet to have another hit in the two years since it was released.

Cosmopolitan speculates that the singer is a broke one-hit wonder because Jepsen was reportedly spotted trying to trade in an expensive purse for money at a New York pawn shop.

Jonathan Simkin, a representative for Jepsen, told The Province that it’s “outlandish” to suggest the Canadian star is broke.
