Step aside, Brangelina: Hollywood's next uber-couple has arrived with the news that Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have gotten engaged.

People magazine reports that the celebrity couple, who first got to know each other playing teen lovebirds Kelso and Jackie on That '70s Show, are planning to become husband and wife.

Although neither star has confirmed the engagement, the betrothal seemed official after Kunis, 30, stepped out with a large diamond on her ring finger while shopping with her mother in Los Angeles on Thursday.

And of course, there are the usual anonymous sources willing to dish on how Kutcher and Kunis make the perfect couple.

"Ashton and Mila have talked about getting married for quite a while," a person allegedly close to Kutcher told People in December.

Said another Kutcher confidante: "They're incredibly happy together."

Kutcher, 36, and Kunis have been dating since last spring and have been regularly spotted at Los Angeles Lakers basketball games and other events making public displays of affection, They've also taken several vacations together, which is apparently a key ingredient of their relationship.

"Ashton loves to travel and so does Mila, so they have seen a lot of new places and both are charged at the idea of doing it more, even living part-time abroad," a source told People.

And no question that timing factored into the looming nuptials: Kutcher's divorce from actress Demi Moore was finalized in late November, nearly two years after they separated.

As regular People readers know, Moore sought spousal support and legal fees from Kutcher and the ex-couple was reportedly bickering over how to divide up their combined assets worth an estimated $300-million (U.S.).

The divorce details appear to have been the only roadblock preventing Kutcher from popping the question.

Last summer, another source told People that Kutcher "was set on proposing [to Kunis]" and said he "really wants to marry her and is so annoyed that there was still the hold-up with the divorce."

Now the coast is clear and the attractive star couple are free to pursue their new life together.

We knew it was true love from the moment that Kelso let Jackie put a dress and makeup on him.
