Chelsea Handler has finally done what many CNN viewers have only dreamed about: Put Piers Morgan firmly in his place. The Chelsea Lately host was on Morgan's soon-to-disappear program Piers Morgan Live on Tuesday night to promote her new book, Uganda Be Kidding Me and perhaps to defuse accusations that she sent out racist tweets on Oscar night. After several minutes of awkward back-and-forth banter, Morgan told Handler, "You tweet, very amusingly." To which Handler responded: "I wish you did." Following Morgan's nervous laugh, Handler continued: "I mean, in the middle of the commercial break … I want your viewers to know; they must know because they're probably following you on Twitter. I mean you can't even pay attention for 60 seconds. You're a terrible interviewer." Piers Morgan Live is expected to go off the air later this month.
Regular viewers of Glee were surprised to see a midseason tribute to the late Cory Monteith on Tuesday night's new episode. The setup focused on the McKinley High glee club again competing at the nationals for singing groups; Monteith's character, footballer-turned-warbler Finn Hudson, was supposed to be the McKinley's team coach and mentor before Monteith's death last summer required the show's creators to write him out of the series. In the episode, Finn's protégé Sam (Chord Overstreet) attempted to bolster his fellow singers by flashing a framed picture of Finn and saying he was still with them. Later, while the McKinley squad was performing U2's I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, the camera cut to his tearful parents Burt and Carole (Mike O'Malley, Romy Rosemont) in the audience, which lead into a series of clips of Finn from previous seasons.
Game of Thrones star Kristian Nairn has revealed he is gay. The Irish actor, who portrays Bran Stark's fearsome protector Hodor on the popular HBO series, was conducting an interview with the GOT fansite Winter is Coming when he simply stated it. In his own words: "In all honesty, when you talk about 'the gay community,' you are talking about MY community." Nairn added: "I've never hidden my sexuality from anyone, my whole life, in fact, and I've been waiting for someone to ask about it in an interview, cause it's not something you just blurt out."

Tyler Perry subscribes to old-school methods when it comes to disciplining kids. The writer-director was promoting his new film The Single Moms Club with actress Nia Long when the interviewers asked him for tips on child-rearing. "Me, I'm into ass-whooping, but I don't have kids," responded Perry. Unexpectedly, Long, who does have children, backed up Perry's seemingly antiquated approach. "My younger one, he's only 2, so I try to talk to him," said Long. "But the older one, he gets it."
The family of Selena Gomez is reportedly not thrilled at the prospect of her getting back together with Justin Bieber. According to a report in People, the possible reunion of the Latina actress and the Canadian pop star, who have been spotted making public displays of affection in recent days, has already angered several members of Gomez's family. "Selena has chosen Justin over her family in the past," an unnamed source told People. "They are disappointed about that." Added the source: "Her father has told her he doesn't like her spending time with him."
