The Biblical epic Noah could be facing a wide-scale ban through most of the Middle East and parts of North Africa. The movie, which stars Russell Crowe as the heroic figure, has already been rejected by censors in Qatar, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates; Egypt is expected to follow suit, along with Jordan and Kuwait. The reason for the ban: The events in the movie contravene Islamic rules on the depiction of prophets. At the same time, U.S. fundamentalist Christian groups have already protested the film due to director Darren Aronofsky's decision to produce a loose adaptation of the Bible story rather than a note-for-note retelling. Noah opens in North American theatres on March 28.

Viewers will have to draw their own conclusions from the just-released cryptic trailer for the upcoming final season of Mad Men. When the Emmy-winning drama left off last spring, conflicted ad man Don Draper (Jon Hamm) was instructed to take a leave of absence from his firm. In the 15-second trailer for the sendoff season, Don is shown descending the stairs from a sixties-era TWA jetliner in slow motion, while the soundtrack plays a swell of strings mixed with the sounds of an airplane. The first half of Mad Men's final season debuts April 13 on AMC.
