Belmondo (www.belmondo.ca) is a natural skin-care line from esthetician Daniela Belmondo, who tapped her Italian roots to source organic olive oil as a base for her rich creams and exfoliants. Handmade in small quantities, the products are scented with herbs that are either certified organic or grown in the wild.

ILIA Beauty (www.iliabeauty.com) gives a brashly contemporary edge to its line of lipsticks and glosses, which are up to 85-per-cent organic. Shades may skew bold, but ingredients such as shea butter and vitamin E promise to keep lips both soft and toxin-free.
