Huge on the runways for spring is the use of purple in all its shades, from pastel to deeper lilacs and violets. The trick to getting a perfect, winged out liner is a good angle brush and applying in steps.

Tools:

  • Medium-tone purple liner
  • Angle brush
  • Light beige shadow colour, for highlighting
  • Mascara
  • Soft, ballet pink blush
  • Soft, ballet pink/nude lipstick
  • Clear lip gloss

Application:

Apply the beige highlighting colour to the brow bone and inner corner of the eye. Apply the purpler liner in small, thick dashes, from the inner corner of the eye towards the outer corner To create the wing, use the angle brush and slowly drag along the liner in an upward and out motion.

Apply a coat of black mascara to the lashes.

Apply a sheer wash of a soft, ballet pink blush to the cheeks.

The lips are last, and keep them understated and nude with just a hint of pink. Top it off with a clear gloss for dimension.
