Should I bleach my eyebrows to go with my hair?

I have blonde hair and I've been thinking of bleaching my eyebrows, as it's a look I've been seeing in magazines. How do I do it and what do you think of the look?

Are we talking bleached-out brows that look barely there? If so, the trend may look chic in glossy magazines, but it's a little less so while commuting on the streetcar in the a.m.

I do, however, think it's perfectly acceptable to lighten your brows a bit to accommodate your blonde hair, but it's important that you seek professional help to do this, as trying it at home is a little risky considering it's so close to your eyes. If you happen to have dark hair and get it tinted blonde, it's more than likely you have sought the help of a professional; your brows deserve the same treatment. Ask an expert what they would recommend and, if you do happen to go too light, don't fear: You can always colour them darker again.
