Step-by-step: makeup for eyewear Add to ...

With nearsightedness, the lenses in your glasses will make your eyes appear smaller, so it's important to use lighter shades of shadow and to also define the eyes using liners and/or mascara.

With farsightedness, you eyes will appear larger, so sticking to medium, matte shadows and mascara is the way to go.

Here are some more tips:

  • lash curler
  • mascara
  • concealer
  • highlighter

Start by using a light reflecting concealer, as glasses can cast a shadow under the eyes, making dark circles appear more pronounced.

Next, curl the lashes, which help you prep for mascara and also prevents your lashes from touching your lenses when wearing glasses

Last is mascara. Remember that nearsighted individuals should define the eyes more, so two coats is best, and farsighted lens wearers should just use one coat, evenly across the lashes
