Party Photos of the week - Mad Hot Wonderland gala

Walking into the Mad Hot Wonderland gala was like falling into the rabbit hole. A gaggle of Alices played flamingo croquet, The Caterpillar loafed ever-so-slyly, and the Mad Hatter's tea party table was set with oversized candelabras. The annual fundraiser for the National Ballet was inspired by the premiere of Christopher Wheeldon's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, on stage at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts until tomorrow. Artistic director Karen Kain chose three excerpts from the show to kick off the evening, as well as a performance by principal dancer Greta Hodgkinson as the Dying Swan. Afterwards, VIP guests took to the stage for dinner courtesy of celebrity chef Mark McEwan. Almost 2,000 partygoers raised $1,124,500 in support of the company's continued excellence in dance
