Who knew that spring cleaning could yield such choice entertaining tools. This handy cocktail table, fashioned out of an old tripod and tray, makes an ideal depository for drinks and snacks. To make it, drill a hole in the centre of the tray that accommodates the top screw mount of the tripod, squeeze a small amount of carpenter's glue into the hole and set the tray on the tripod. Let the glue dry for a few hours before using. Et voilà - a party tool that's both photogenic and kind to Mother Earth. - Michael Tong
