To paraphrase the supremely sardonic editrix Miranda Priestly in the movie version of The Devil Wears Prada, florals for spring (or, for that matter, summer)? Not so groundbreaking.

Instead of adorning dinner tables with flower arrangements, especially if you're serving supper in your bloom-filled garden, why not fill glass containers with exotic peacock plumes, picked up inexpensively in a Chinatown shop, instead?
