wine review

Here’s a standard-bearer for Niagara riesling, made from old vines by one of the region’s vinifera pioneers. Dry, with good concentration, it’s silky-plump and simultaneously tangy, with suggestions of apple, lime, flowers and, way in the background, a whiff of gasoline-tinged service-station air. Reasonably priced for the quality and complexity. Available in Ontario LCBO stores and direct, fromtheboscfamily.com.
