Toronto's excellent microbrewery Spearhead scores another goal with this dark-as-a-puck, 5.8-per-cent-alcohol stout. Full-bodied and dry, it displays a lingering, mud-brown head and impressive bitterness. Earthy and moderately effervescent, it's brewed in the Trappist style, with notes of chocolate, espresso, banana, orange and baking spices. Newly available at the LCBO in Ontario.
