I love the name Chill. This is a vicarious tropical beach vacation. A wine geek could have fun guessing the grape mix here. Spoiler alert: pinot gris, chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, viognier, semillon and gewürztraminer. Light-medium bodied, dry and round, it offers ripe tropical fruit and peach and the perfect level of balancing acidity. White aromatic blends are a rage du jour, and most get the balance wrong, mainly leaving too much sugar in the wine post-fermentation. This is spot on. Available at private wines stores in British Columbia and direct through www.bench1775.com.
