How to work your core while playing with your kids

Hanging out with your infant and want to train your core and shoulders at the same time? No problem, try this V-hold.

Start by sitting on your bum on the floor. Keep your back straight and lean backward about 10 degrees. Think about using your core muscles to keep yourself stable and your back neutral.

As you hold, press your infant up in the air, as if you were playing with him – which you are! You can also press any household object up in the air as you supervise your child playing. A book would be perfect.
