The dining room table and bench were built by Maverick Lumber’s Antonio Pacheco. The light fixtures, as well as many other items, were sourced by the owners: “We didn’t want to leave it to the builder to say ‘Here are your three options,’” says Ms. Cassidy.

Sloane Cassidy and her little sister Joss have discovered that the kitchen of their new home can easily double as a playroom.
