A luxury Ottawa home belonging to NHL player Mike Fisher and singer Carrie Underwood has been sold.

The house, built on 11 acres of land in the township of West Carleton, sold "pretty close" to its asking price, real estate agent Paul Rushforth told the Ottawa Citizen.

A buyer from Kingston bought the home, he said Wednesday.

The house at 1135 Spruce Ridge Rd. was originally listed at $2.2-million. That price was lowered to $1.95-million in November, the Citizen reported.

Built in 2010, the house has tons of space with five bedrooms and a chef's kitchen.

Fisher played for the Ottawa Senators for more than a decade before being traded to the Nashville Predators in 2011. The couple are now building a new home near Nashville.
