LISTING AGENT Nicolas Blachette, Sutton Group

The Action: The listing agent showed the suite to about 15 parties and ended up with multiple offers. "When the seller purchased this unit about three years ago, the Village had a ghost town feeling," Nicolas Blachette said. "Since then, it has become one of the most prized neighbourhoods to live in."

What They Got: This Olympic Village waterfront unit is 775 square feet with a 395-square-foot terrace. It is LEED certified and has radiant heating and cooling and high ceilings. The location is as central as it gets, near the seawall, Science World, SkyTrain and Aquabus. A parking space and private underground storage room is included.

The Agent's Take: "The unit sold fast because it is unique," Mr. Blachette said. "It's located on the waterfront and the buildings are low- to mid-rise, unlike the high-rise jungle on the north side of False Creek. It has large, open public spaces, a public plaza and parks.

"Southeast False Creek will eventually be home to 12,000 to 16,000 people when fully developed in the next couple of years."
