IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Venus and Jupiter, the two most positive planets, are strong on your birthday this year but there is a danger you will take too many risks or take too much for granted. Yes, you can have the good things in life, but you still need to work for them.

ARIES (March 21 - April 20):

No, people are not talking behind your back. No, the world is not out to get you. There may be one or two individuals who say things about you in a less than friendly way today but no way can they harm you – so stop worrying!

TAURUS (April 21 - May 21):

Your confidence is high at the moment, not least because a friend or family member has made it clear just how much you mean to them. It’s nice to be appreciated. It’s even nicer to be loved. And you are both appreciated AND loved.

GEMINI (May 22 - June 21):

The more you worry about something the more power you give it to disrupt your life, so make a conscious decision to put it out of your mind and never think about it again. By far the best way to deal with your fears is to ignore them.

CANCER (June 22 - July 23):

Usually you prefer to keep your feelings to yourself but with Venus at odds with Jupiter, planet of excess, today that may not be possible. If you do go over the top emotionally don’t get too embarrassed about it. It won’t be the last time!

LEO (July 24 - Aug. 23):

It seems like everything you touch at the moment turns, if not to gold, then at least to something very good. And with the sun moving in your favour toward the end of this week you have even better days to look forward to. Lucky you!

VIRGO (Aug. 24 - Sept. 23):

Romance is very much in the air at the moment, but you need to be careful. With Jupiter, planet of exaggeration, linked with Venus, planet of love, as the new week begins there is a danger you could read too much into one particular relationship.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 - Oct. 23):

If you intend to make changes to your work schedule over the next few days you are advised to let your colleagues know what you are doing well before you actually do it. They have a stake in what you are doing too, so be smart and keep them informed.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 - Nov. 22):

Social activities are under favourable stars at the moment, so don’t be afraid to get out into the world and make new friends. You may not be the most open and outgoing member of the zodiac but you have your moments – make this one of them.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 - Dec. 21):

Good news of one kind or another will come your way today and it’s likely you will be on the move either this evening or early tomorrow. Make sure you plan your route well in advance. And have a fallback plan ready, just in case there’s a hold-up.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 - Jan. 20):

Whatever duties and obligations you have as the new week begins you don’t have to get on to them immediately. In fact the planets indicate that, as the full moon approaches, it might be a wise move to postpone them for a few days, or even a week.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 - Feb. 19):

Don’t let fear of failure hold you back from doing what your instincts tell you is right and proper. And certainly don’t let the thought that other people might not approve of your actions slow you down in any way. Stay true to your beliefs.

PISCES (Feb. 20 - Mar. 20):

Make the most of Venus in your sign to build bridges with people you have not been on good terms with of late. Don’t let your ego stop you from making the first approach – let them know you hold no grudges and want to be friends again.
