IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

According to the planets you have put so much time and energy into one aim that an equally important one has suffered. Now you must balance things out and make sure that you can move ahead on two fronts at the same time. Give yourself another option.

ARIES (March 21 - April 20):

It’s time to give up on something that simply isn’t working out the way you wanted it to. It’s not a sign of failure on your part, far from it in fact. You took a chance and gave it your best shot, and that’s more than most people do.

TAURUS (April 21 - May 21):

You may have to put a creative project on hold for a while, at least until the sun changes signs at the weekend. You have so many things on the go that it’s unlikely you can do it justice – but you can come back to it later on.

GEMINI (May 22 - June 21):

You may not entirely trust what a friend or colleague is telling you but you can sense there is some truth in it and that you will need to take action of some kind. Let your instincts guide you and don’t be afraid to upset powerful people.

CANCER (June 22 - July 23):

Cancer may not be one of the more outgoing of signs but while the sun remains in the travel area of your chart you will want to be on the move. Don’t go too far today though as a family issue may require your input. Short journeys only.

LEO (July 24 - Aug. 23):

The best way to deal with people who insist on making a drama out of a crisis is to stay calm and let them see that you won’t allow yourself to be panicked. Someone needs to keep a cool head and that someone may have to be you.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 - Sept. 23):

The sun is coming to the end of its journey through your sign and that means you need to quickly finish a project that has some sort of deadline. Don’t try to do everything, just do the one thing that really matters really well.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 - Oct. 23):

Recent weeks have seen you give some serious thought to what you are going to do in the future and when the sun enters your sign on the 23rd you can turn those thoughts into deeds. And remember: the future is what you choose to make of it.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 - Nov. 22):

If you take the opposite viewpoint to what everyone else claims to believe there is every chance that you will be one of the few people who makes the right call. You have never been one to get caught up in the herd mentality, so don’t start now!

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 - Dec. 21):

Cosmic activity in the career area of your chart has brought a great deal of pressure in recent weeks, but you have handled it well and impressed those who have the power to reward you. Don’t be afraid to ask for a raise or a promotion.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 - Jan. 20):

Why is a friend acting in ways that can only hurt them in the long-term? Is it because they just don’t care, or is it their way of calling for assistance? According to the planets it could well be the latter, so what can you do to help them?

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 - Feb. 19):

The last few weeks have no doubt been frustrating but when the sun moves into your fellow air sign of Libra at the weekend what seemed so difficult in the past will suddenly look easy. Practise your smile – you’re going to need it!

PISCES (Feb. 20 - Mar. 20):

If you can defeat a rival once and for all you must follow through and make sure they are never in a position to challenge you again. Don’t let your big heart get in the way. There is no reason why you should feel sorry for them.
