IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Partnerships are under good stars on your birthday, as are creative activities. If you can find ways to combine the two you may be able to break through to higher artistic and scientific levels. Where you are is not enough – aim to go higher still.

ARIES (March 21 - April 20):

At last you are willing to admit that something you have been working on is not worth the effort. It may be disappointing but you have also learned some valuable lessons – not least that you should listen to your instincts before you listen to other people.

TAURUS (April 21 - May 21):

Don’t worry if you have to put a project of some sort on hold today, because you can always come back to it later. You have so much on the go at the moment that you have no choice but to focus on the most important things first.

GEMINI (May 22 - June 21):

You may not trust what a colleague is telling you but it seems you have no option but to act on what they say. Yes, there is a possibility that you are being lied to but the planets indicate it won’t be your loss. The universe has your back.

CANCER (June 22 - July 23):

You may not be in the most outgoing of moods at the moment but that’s okay. As a Cancer you need to hide away once in a while to replenish your energy and revive your interest in life. You’ll bounce back bigger and better than ever.

LEO (July 24 - Aug. 23):

The best way to deal with people who insist on making a drama out of the most mundane of things is to ignore them and take whatever action is needed yourself. They are unlikely to thank you for it, of course, but everyone else will.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 - Sept. 23):

If there is something you have wanted to do for years but for one reason or another never quite got around to then get your act together and get started on it immediately. You can and you will make a huge success of it – IF you start now!

LIBRA (Sept. 24 - Oct. 23):

Start looking for ways to turn the tables on people who have given you a hard time. You don’t have to be blatant about it – as a Libra you can do subtle – but you do have to let everyone see that you will NOT be taken for a fool.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 - Nov. 22):

If you insist on taking an opposing view to whatever the accepted wisdom happens to be you must expect to be attacked for it. Will that bother you? Of course not! The fact that you are attracting criticism means, in your mind, that you are in the right.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 - Dec. 21):

Cosmic activity in the career area of your chart is piling up a great deal of pressure, but you won’t let it get to you. Anyone who thinks you are going to roll over and play dead obviously knows nothing about who and what you really are.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 - Jan. 20):

Someone you work alongside may say something about you that is less than flattering. Don’t go off on your own and sulk about it – confront them directly and ask how they have come to that opinion of you. It could be a case of mistaken identity!

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 - Feb. 19):

Yes, this may be a frustrating time for you, but it won’t last much longer, so keep smiling and keep reminding yourself that behind those big black clouds the sun is still shining brightly. Always imagine you can feel its warmth on your cheek.

PISCES (Feb. 20 - Mar. 20):

You may be tempted to let a rival off the hook this weekend but is that really such a good idea? If you give them the impression that you are too soft-hearted they won’t hesitate to take you for a ride again and again. Stand up for yourself – and mean it.
