IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

The sun and Jupiter form the perfect angle on your birthday, which means you will be rewarded for the many good things you have done in the past. Enjoy your good fortune and let no one tell you that you’ve just been lucky. You make your own luck.

ARIES (March 21 - April 20):

You can take on the world and win this week, so what are you waiting for? With the sun in your sign on the best possible terms with luck planet Jupiter you can and you must go beyond what has been done before. For you, there are no limits.

TAURUS (April 21 - May 21):

You will have to deal with someone you don’t really get along with this week and the potential for conflict is high. Do what has to be done – for their benefit and for your own – but don’t spend a moment more in their company than is strictly necessary.

GEMINI (May 22 - June 21):

You seem to be in one of your restless moods at the moment and you won’t be happy unless you are on the move, Whether you travel near or far is of secondary importance – what matters is that you are out there engaging with the world.

CANCER (June 22 - July 23):

The more other people want you to act on impulse or give in to your feelings the more you must stand firm and let logic be your only guide. Someone needs to keep a cool head and it looks very much like that someone will have to be you.

LEO (July 24 - Aug. 23):

You can get just about anything you desire this week – all you have to do is ask. With the sun, your ruler, on ideal terms with Jupiter, planet of good fortune, the universe is clearly smiling on you. Smile back and do something wonderful!

VIRGO (Aug. 24 - Sept. 23):

You may be worried about upsetting someone whose support you may need in the days and weeks to come but don’t let that stop you from speaking your mind. Chances are they will admire your determination to be truthful no matter the cost.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 - Oct. 23):

If others disapprove of what you are doing that’s just too bad – do it anyway, even more so than before. You have never been one to follow the herd, so ignore what the majority are saying and let your conscience be your guide.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 - Nov. 22):

You seem to be in one of your contrary moods, the kind where you deliberately do the opposite to what you know to be right simply because you don’t like being told what to do. Watch out though – the planets warn it could be a double bluff.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 - Dec. 21):

A positive sun-Jupiter link means you are determined to have fun. Not everyone will approve that you are laughing and having a good time when there is so much of a serious nature going on in the world, but laugh anyway. It’s by far the best medicine.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 - Jan. 20):

There could be some embarrassment this week as something you would prefer the world not to know about becomes public knowledge. Your best tactic is to brazen it out, to pretend that you don’t care who knows. Better still, don’t pretend, mean it.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 - Feb. 19):

You will find yourself drawn to people whose attitudes and opinions are very different to your own. Why is that? Maybe it’s because you are beginning to realize that there are few absolute truths and you want to explore a wider range of opinions.

PISCES (Feb. 20 - Mar. 20):

The more someone scolds you for being old-fashioned the more you must stick with the methods and routines you know best. If something has worked for you in the past there is every reason to believe it will work in the future too.
