IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

A Mercury-Neptune link on your birthday suggests that your imaginative powers will be at a peak over the coming year. What can you do to make your ideas work for you? Whatever you decide don’t slip into wishful thinking. Be inspired but be sensible too.

ARIES (March 21 - April 20):

There are so many things going right for you now that you can consider yourself the luckiest member of the zodiac. But don’t take your good fortune for granted because, as always, the things that are most worth having still need to be worked for.

TAURUS (April 21 - May 21):

If you find it hard getting your mind to work this week don’t worry about it – just sit back, relax and let the world put on a show for you personally. You don’t have to be on the go, physically or mentally, every minute of every day. Take a break.

GEMINI (May 22 - June 21):

Someone you tend to think of as quite boring actually has an interesting story to tell and if you listen to what they say this week you will be enthralled. Just because they don’t talk a lot does not mean they have nothing to say.

CANCER (June 22 - July 23):

Whatever challenges you are faced with over the next few days you can and you must attack them head on. Challenges on the work front are sure to tax your mind and your emotions but you have what it takes not just to survive but to thrive.

LEO (July 24 - Aug. 23):

You know that you are right and you know that those who disagree with you are wrong, but that isn’t going to change the way they think. There is a lot of stupidity in the world and, sadly, there’s not much you can do about it.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 - Sept. 23):

Try not to be too critical of the people you deal with this week because your words could rebound on you at a later date when it is you who is struggling. You know the old maxim: If you can’t say something nice, say nothing at all.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 - Oct. 23):

You may find it hard to be nice to someone who has not always been nice to you but the planets suggest this is a good time to get to know them better. You may never be best buddies but at least you will understand what motivates them.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 - Nov. 22):

You are no stranger to hard work but this week you will outdo even your own Herculean efforts. The sun in the wellbeing area of your chart makes you feel as if you could carry the world on your shoulders. Start with something a bit lighter though!

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 - Dec. 21):

Now that the sun is moving through your fellow fire sign of Aries life should be a bit easier for you, and in a matter of days you will be back to your best and eager to show what you are capable of – and that’s just about anything.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 - Jan. 20):

You will have to own up to something embarrassing over the next 24 hours but it won’t be as bad as you fear, so admit your error or transgression and then move on. Remember, it’s only those who never try something new who never make a mistake.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 - Feb. 19):

Get out into the world and meet as many new and interesting people as you can. Don’t wait for permission from partners or loved ones or friends – do what feels right to you and trust that the universe will guide and protect you. It always does.

PISCES (Feb. 20 - Mar. 20):

Just because something is shiny and new does not mean you have to have it. Bear that thought in mind this week before you reach for your credit card and pay for something you know, deep down, that you don’t really need. What you do need is entirely free.
