IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Try to put other people’s needs ahead of your own over the coming 12 months, even if it means having to postpone some of the things you were planning to do. The universe will reward you for your generosity in ways you might not expect.

ARIES (March 21 - April 20):

Because you insist on doing things your own way you may fall out with a work colleague over the next few days. The fact is though you will need to work with this person a lot in the future, so make more of an effort to understand them.

TAURUS (April 21 - May 21):

Cosmic activity in your fellow earth sign of Virgo makes it easy for you to get along with all sorts of people, but you need to remember that getting along is not the same as giving in. You still have your own interests to protect.

GEMINI (May 22 - June 21):

The winds of fate are blowing you all over the place at the moment but once you stop struggling and go with the flow you could end up some place really interesting. The less you try to control your life the more you may learn to enjoy it.

CANCER (June 22 - July 23):

You may feel a bit half-hearted about what you are expected to do at the moment but by the middle of the week your enthusiasm will soar and life will be fun again. Get your act together and, above all, stop feeling sorry for yourself.

LEO (July 24 - Aug. 23):

What looked like a good idea yesterday may not look like a good idea today. Should you junk it and move on? No you should not. A few days from now your feelings will go through 180 degrees again and you will be back in love with the idea.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 - Sept. 23):

The things you imagine now will be the things that become your reality later on, so give your mind permission to roam and don’t doubt that your dreams will one day come true. That day may be closer than you think, so stay alert!

LIBRA (Sept. 24 - Oct. 23):

Something that is a bit of a struggle for you now will become much easier later in the month, so stick with it and don’t be tempted to give up halfway through. You’ve come this far Libra, so you might as well go all the way.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 - Nov. 22):

If someone makes a big thing about a mistake you made you should turn around and make an even bigger thing of their many errors. You don’t mind criticism when it is justified but you do mind when your faults and failings are exaggerated.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 - Dec. 21):

You have never been one to think small and you are not about to start now. The more certain people urge you to lower your ambitions, the more you will delight in aiming even higher. As far as you are concerned it’s NO. 1 or nothing.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 - Jan. 20):

All things are possible now, at least for you, so keep those silly people who preach doom and gloom at arm’s length and make a point of showing a happy face to the world. Your positive attitude will be infectious in the nicest way.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 - Feb. 19):

It may be true that not everything is going your way at the moment but it could be a lot worse, so cheer up and look forward to better days. It’s still a beautiful world out there and you can make it more beautiful still by being happy.

PISCES (Feb. 20 - Mar. 20):

You may not know why you mistrust a certain person but you do and your instincts don’t often let you down. Keep your suspicions to yourself for the time being but keep an eye on them too. You may have to rescue someone from their clutches.
