Your first duty is to yourself. No, that isn’t a selfish attitude to take, it’s a realistic one. Put simply, you can’t make other people happy unless you are happy to begin with. So, what makes you smile? Do it more over the next 12 months.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Try not to let your anxieties get the better of you. As Neptune turns retrograde in the most sensitive area of your chart today you may see problems where none exist. Act as if life is wonderful – and it will be.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

Today’s events will excite you and encourage you to believe that all things are possible. But it could also tempt you to take foolish risks, so think before you act. If you do make a mistake, put it right straight away.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

Keep things simple today, both at home and at work. Also, tread carefully when dealing with employers and other important people: they may see you as a threat and try to clip your wings. Don’t make it easy for them.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

The planets warn you should watch what you say today, especially if you are one of those Cancerians who tend to speak before fully engaging your brain. You are entitled to your opinion but others are just as entitled to disagree.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

You will act on impulse quite a bit over the next 24 hours, especially in areas where your passions are strong. Just be careful you don’t say anything that could have a negative financial impact. Be frank but be smart too.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

Your emotions may be raging but you are determined not to let anyone know about it. That’s probably a good move, because if your rivals realize how deep your feelings are they may exploit them for their own ends.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Don’t let your responsibilities weigh you down. It does not matter how much work you have to do or how far behind you are in your schedule you can and you must remain cheerful. Play the game of life with a smile.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

Other people may give in to despair today but no way are you going to let it affect you. In fact, the more those around you indulge in feelings of doom and gloom the more you will laugh at them. Quite right too.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

Don’t feel guilty about what happens to other people. You are not responsible for the world and its woes and those who say you are should be laughed at loud and long. You don’t do “serious”, at least not today.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Neptune’s apparent change of direction in the travel area of your chart will leave you a bit confused about what you should be doing and where you should be going. The good news is there’s no need to rush – take your time.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

You may think you know what is going on but the planets warn you are missing an important piece of the puzzle and it could cost you money. Whatever else you do today don’t take chances – no action is better than wrong action.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

Neptune, your ruler, begins one of its retrograde phases today, so don’t be surprised if issues that are important to you seem to move in the opposite direction to where you want them to go. All you can do is go with the flow.
