The moon’s eclipse of Jupiter on your birthday will tend to make you a bit emotional, which is something you need to watch out for. Your passion for your work or career will shine through, but it needs to be constructively directed.

ARIES (March 21 - April 20):

The more you expect of others this weekend, the more likely it is you will be disappointed, so don’t set your hopes too high. Let other people be who they want to be – and always be yourself, of course.

TAURUS (April 21 - May 21):

Money matters will demand your attention this weekend, but the planets warn if you move too fast you may regret it. There is still time to think before you take action, so stop worrying and use your brain.

GEMINI (May 22 - June 21):

The more open you are with other people, the more open they will be with you. However, if you suspect that a colleague is not being completely truthful, don’t make a fuss about it – it’s no big deal.

CANCER (June 22 - July 23):

You may be considering a career change, but you are advised to sleep on the idea because chances are you are not thinking straight. What happens over the next 48 hours will point you in the right direction.

LEO (July 24 - Aug. 23):

This is not a good time for looking too far ahead, as both Mercury and the moon are likely to disrupt your thinking processes. Take each event as it comes and let the future take care of itself – it always does.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 - Sept. 23):

Stop dreaming and start living. That is the message of the stars for you this weekend and if you heed it, you will soon forget about your worries. Compared to most people you have it easy anyway – no, really!

LIBRA (Sept. 24 - Oct. 23):

You may not agree with what a friend is doing, but you have to accept that they are entitled to do it. Your principles are precious, but they are not shared by everyone, nor is there any reason why they should be.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 - Nov. 22):

No matter how cautious you may be most of the time, you are in the mood to take risks now. Which is fine, but make sure the odds are more in your favour than against. They don’t have to be stupid risks.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 - Dec. 21):

Because Mercury, planet of the mind, squares up to your ruler Jupiter this weekend, you must stick with the facts every inch of the way. Wishful thinking can be a lot of fun, but it can be dangerous, too.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 - Jan. 20):

Your mind is playing tricks on you and if you are not very careful it could push you in a direction you really don’t want to go. Think before you act this weekend and, if in doubt, don’t act at all.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 - Feb. 19):

You have your suspicions that someone is telling you lies or in some other way trying to deceive you. To be on the safe side, don’t tell them anything you would not want your rivals or enemies to know.

PISCES (Feb. 20 - Mar. 20):

Reach out to employers and other influential people this weekend. Let them know what you can do. But don’t lie about your strengths and weaknesses. If you are honest, you will impress them all the more.
