I have a baby on the way and don't know its sex. What colours should I choose for the nursery?
I believe the days of pink and blue have faded away, even if a baby's sex is known. We live in a genderblended world, after all, where girls play hockey and boys play with dolls. My advice is to make your little one's room bright and flexible so that you are not redecorating every other year.
Keep the walls neutral and the area carpet lush, with medium coloration that you can echo elsewhere in the room. Display some toys as though they are art and have fun with accents such as throws and pillows. Feel free to play with trends, too: Pair tangerine with white lacquer, for instance, or incorporate graphic black-and-white designs.
Sadly, kids grow up quickly, so keep in mind that your baby will soon be texting full-time, unaware of his or her surroundings.
