Donald Trump Jr. is under fire for a hunting trip he took in 2010.JESSICA RINALDI

The blowback against the safari hunting spree by brothers Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump grew stronger today as Camping World, an RV-and-outdoor-supply company, pulled its advertising from Celebrity Apprentice, where Mr. Trump Jr. is a judge alongside his father and sister Ivanka.

"I wouldn't spend another nickel with them," said CEO Marcus Lemonis, according to celebrity gossip site TMZ.

In August of 2010, the Trump family scions went on a hunting safari in Zimbabwe, where they reportedly bagged several animals including a crocodile, kudu, civet cat, waterbuck and what appears to have been a baby elephant. (It least it looks like it was small. Here are photos of Donald Jr. holding the elephant's tail, and the knife he used to hack it off with.)

Photos from the trip only surfaced this week though, on the hunting outfitter's website. "It was evident from the word go that these two amazing young men are everything but the 'city slickers' you would expect!" one of the tour guides reportedly wrote.

Mr. Trump Jr. has defended the hunt on Twitter, writing, "I am also not going to apologize because some eco nuts want me 2," and "I AM A HUNTER I don't hide from that … Just love to be outdoors w a gun or bow."

"I can assure you it was not wasteful – the villagers were so happy for the meat which they don't often get to eat," he added.

But his actions have been met with widespread disgust. According to the London Telegraph, Johnny Rodriquez, of the Zimbabwe Conservation Taskforce, said the area where the men hunted is sparsely populated so it's unlikely the meat was of benefit to anyone.

"Because of the state of the country, there is also very little transparency about where the money these hunters spend goes," Mr. Rodriquez added. "If they want to help Zimbabwe, there are many better ways to do so."

However, Ben Mulroney, the CTV host, jumped to his fellow scion's defence.

"Hunting isn't my thing but I like that @DonaldJTrumpJr is standing up for himself. It's legal and he's an adult. Where's the problem?" he wrote on Twitter earlier this week.
