Nothing like a post-paternity test brunch with your girlfriend to get the wallet hemorrhaging.

Looking sleepy in some mustard pants, Justin Bieber feasted on fried eggs, bacon, waffles and double blueberry pancakes at a Los Angeles IHOP with girlfriend Selena Gomez after the American Music Awards, where the Biebs was shut out.

After wishing staff a happy Thanksgiving, the two were off, but not before stunning their server and squealing girls around the world with a 200 per cent tip on those eggs.

Hey big spender: With the average brunch tab for two hovering at approximately $30, that's a whopping $90 for the Biebs.

The IHOP tab was just training wheels compared to the monster tipping habits of celebrities like Jay-Z, who dropped $250,000 in champagne at Scarpetta in August, tossing a $50,000 gratuity at staff.

Other celebrity saints in the service industry include Drew Barrymore and Julia Roberts, who have reportedly tipped equal to their bill.

As for consistency, Johnny Depp has been crowned best celebrity tipper, once leaving a $1,500 tip on a $2,600 bill. And he's low maintenance.

Not purportedly as generous have been O.J. Simpson and Tiger Woods. Go figure.

What's the best tip you ever left, and why?
