Is this the best wedding photo ever? Add to ...

A wedding is supposed to be one of the greatest days in a couple’s life, but the photos are usually pretty boring. The husband, wife, bridesmaids and groomsmen are lined up in a row and smile for the camera. But not so for the Lowders, who are featured in what one website has called the “Greatest wedding photo in the history of the world.”

The photographer, Quinn Miller, who lives in Louisiana, told the webstite io9.com that he knew the groom “loves dinosaurs.” While it’s pretty hard to dig up a T-Rex these days, there is this little thing called PhotoShop. So he talked to his husband-to-be friend about putting one of the fearsome creatures in to a wedding photo using the technology.

“I put it to the groom, and he thought it would be a fun thing to do,” Miller told the website.

On the day of the wedding, Miller had the wedding party run at the camera as if being chased by a T-Rex.

Then, as Miller explains, “I got a stock image of a dinosaur and put it in.” The result is perfect.

Many couples have gotten creative with their big day, especially when it comes to entrance song and dance routines. But great uses of PhotoShop in pictures of the big day are still pretty rare, which is kind of amazing considering how relatively easy it is to have a T-Rex photobomb your wedding.

And as this photo proves, if you can have a dinosaur photobomb your wedding, you really, really should do that.
