No one who was ever sat down by a parent for "the talk" probably much enjoyed it, but it seems to have been especially traumatizing for Glee star Matthew Morrison.

Morrison's father, a midwife, would tell him stories about teenage pregnancies and the nitty, gritty details of sexually transmitted diseases, complete with pictures. It was all to help ensure that Morrison would be responsible when it came to sex.

The talk was all so graphic, however, that it had a different effect: it left Morrison afraid of even having sex.

"My birds and the bees talk was epic," he recently told Britain's Star magazine.

"My dad is a midwife who delivers babies for a living, so he would come home every day and tell me about a 12-year-old girl whose baby he delivered. He had this big book with these very vivid pictures of every single STD and he would show me all of them. I was so scared of sex when I was growing up."

How was your sex talk? Have you given the talk to a child? How did it go?
