It's the butt that launched a thousand … trips to the plastic surgeon.

Because copying everything the two Middleton sisters wear isn't enough, Pippa's famous, um, attribute, is now a top request among American women hoping for a better behind.

One Miami plastic surgeon told Good Morning America that 80 percent of his work is now butt lifts – and 20 per cent of those are requests for the derriere made famous at the royal wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton. He calls the procedure the "Pippa butt lift."

The morning show even produced 28-year-old Cristina Valdez, who went under the knife for her look-alike rear-end. "She's got a nice rump, that's not too big," Ms. Valdez said of her inspiration.

Of course, woman could try for better butts the old fashion way, through exercise. (Hint: It won't happen by wearing these flip-flops.)

Too hard? If women are going to undergo the pricey plastic surgery, they would be wise to save their pennies, à la Pippa's frugal sister. The headlines in Britain today were all about the Duchess of Cambridge and her frugal shopping sense – in particular, how she put back a pair of earrings worth about $16 at the cash.

Even a Duchess can have buyer's remorse, apparently.

Something all those plastic surgery patients might want to consider.

Has the plastic surgery crazy gone too far? Or should people have the option of a Pippa butt if they want one?
