If you've just fallen in love, there's a good chance that Jason Derulo's Don't Wanna Go Home is top on your playlist.
At least, that's the word from Facebook – a.k.a. Big Brother – which tracked the songs American users played the most on Spotify after updating their relationship statuses, Mashable.com reports.
Just in time for Valentine's Day, of course.
Lest you cast doubt on data gleaned from Spotify, consider that the Sweden-based music platform had four million users in the United States as of November, many of them gained after it piggybacked onto Facebook in late 2011.
Assuming that pop-music tastes aren't that different south of the border (Spotify is not yet available in Canada), here are the top love songs according to Mark Zuckerberg's crew:
1. Don't Wanna Go Home, Jason Derulo
2. Love On Top, Beyoncé
3. How to Love, Lil Wayne
4. Just The Way You Are, Bruno Mars
5. Good Feeling, Flo Rida
The top breakup songs are there too – including a hit from Grammy-winning Adele:

3. All of the Lights, Kanye West
4. Rolling in the Deep, Adele

Unlike the love songs, which are peppy and upbeat, the breakup songs have a satisfying intensity. That's no wonder, considering the soul-searching that goes into an I-just-got-dumped album.
The magnificent Adele wrote 2011's top-selling single Rolling in the Deep the day after breaking up with her boyfriend, CBS reported on Sunday.
The British sensation acknowledged in an interview with Anderson Cooper that she isn't sure she can write an album without despairing over lost love. On the other hand, writing another breakup record would be "just like a boring, running theme," she added. "I think people would be like, 'No, that's enough now, cheer up.'"
And now that Adele's got a new sweetheart, who knows? Her dreamy new tunes may land on next year's list of top love songs instead.
