Hong Kong's annual Chinese New Year parade will be staged at night for the first time, and with the participation of Toronto's Caribana.
Against the glittering backdrop of Victoria Harbour, the parade, set for Jan. 22, should prove to be more spectacular than usual, with Caribana adding the West Indian flair of its annual summertime parade in Toronto, organizers said. The parade will celebrate the first day of the Chinese year of the monkey.
