Florence [was] one of my favourite places that I've ever been to in my life. … I went there and to Tuscany with some friends after graduating theatre school in 2001. It was a spectacular, art-filled adventure. Every day was different, discovering more about the place. That, for me, is an ideal vacation. In Tuscany and Florence, it was extremely refined. We didn't do Europe en masse. We focused all of our energy in one place. We learned a lot of history of the region and saw every piece of art you could possibly see. I was mesmerized by the Statue of David and understood why it's so famous. You could tell what was so special about it - you could feel it. I'd certainly like to go back.
