My entire family loves to downhill ski and we're getting ready to head out to Banff in the next couple of weeks. My husband and I were skiers before we had kids and now it has become part of our family life as well. Our kids have been skiing since they were two years old. We'd strap a helmet the size of a Volkswagen on them - they'd look like Gazoo as they went down the mountain. Now that our kids are a wee bit older, we can all do it as a family. I'm originally from Calgary and I love that Banff is a national park and that our time there is all about the skiing. It's not about Gucci or Prada stores in Banff.
