The question: We're planning a trip to Britain to visit family with our two teenage boys and are hoping to add a few days in London. Another company, Base2Stay ( base2stay.com), also has nightly rates. Located in Kensington, it blends aspects of boutique hotels with serviced apartments. Smith also recommends SACO Serviced Apartments, which offers a range of options across London ( www.sacoapartments.com ).
Besides more room, these accommodations also offer one priceless amenity – the opportunity to live like a local.
