SEARCH FOR SPERM WHALES OFF THE COAST OF NORWAY
The buy: Hurtigruten is offering an early-booking discount for a new cruise called Giants of the Deep, which will track sperm whales off northern Norway.
The savings: At $3,839, the savings are 20 per cent.
The catch: You must book by Dec. 31 for the 12-day cruise that sails on July 31. Airfare is not included.
Why it's worth it: In addition to whale watching, you cross the Arctic Circle and visit the world's most northernmost town of Hammerfest and the art nouveau town of Alesund as well as head out for a bird safari to look for puffins.
