Sunquest is combining a transatlantic repositioning cruise with a coach tour of Italy for about $100 a day this fall. You can choose a 21- or 24-day version that includes air from Toronto, a precruise coach tour through Italy, and a cruise through the Mediterranean and Caribbean on the MSC Poesia from Genoa, Italy to Fort Lauderdale. The 21-day cruise holiday, departing Nov. 7, starts at $2,299, plus tax. Beginning in Ro me, the three-night precruise tour explores Rome and Florence, before departing for six nights through the Mediterranean, a five-night transatlantic crossing and finishing with five nights through the Caribbean. The 24-day version departs Nov. 4 and sells from $2,699, plus tax. The six-night precruise tour begins in the south, touring Naples, Sorrento, the Almalfi coast and Pompeii, before moving more north to Rome and Florence. If you book by July 18 you will receive a free upgrade and package of 10 bottles of Italian wine, representing a total savings of $750 a couple. For more information, visit sunquest.ca.
