NEW NON-STOP TO VAIL
The buy: Air Canada has a seat sale to promote its new non-stop service from Toronto to Vail and the ski slopes of Colorado this winter.
The savings: With roundtrip fares of $373, including all taxes and fees, the price is less than half what you would pay to fly to Denver later this month.
The catch: There are limited seats available at that price and you have to book by Sept. 10.
Why it's worth it: These flights go every Saturday from Dec. 14 to April 5 right into Eagle Vail Airport just 30 minutes from the slopes of Vail and Beaver Creek, one of the world's great ski resorts. AIR FRANCE/KLM SALE
The buy:
Air France and KLM have a back-to-school promotion with fares to Europe and beyond from $849 from Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal, including taxes and fees (plus $150 from Calgary and Vancouver).
The savings: Hundreds of dollars.
The catch: You have to book by Sept. 17 for travel from Oct. 16 to Dec. 14 and Dec. 25 to May 6.
Why it's worth it: Air France is offering cities in Spain, Casablanca, Copenhagen, Vienna, Stockholm and Paris from $849 with other French cities from $879, Tel Aviv and Beirut from $1,049 and Dakar, Conakry, Mauritius, Ho Chi Minh City, Singapore and Chinese cities from $1,249.
