Reason we picked it: The photographer used a shallow depth of field to keep the focus on the subject. Also having her staring right at the camera and the colour of her dress really makes her stand out in this scene.
Runners compete in the 39th Berlin Marathon in Berlin. Reason we picked it: This photographer did well to frame the spectators above and below the racers and choose the right shutter speed to capture the motion. When you are adding motion to images, be sure to include objects that are stationary in the frame.
