It may not be the smoothest process, but activists in the Occupy movement have their own set of tools to help manage their meetings. Given that facilitators are often juggling the opinions of a couple of hundred people at once, these hand gestures can be crucial to stopping a consensus-based meeting from devolving into chaos.
