A 53-year-old B.C. man has been charged with counselling a depressed woman to commit suicide, and police say he may have done it before.

The latest incident came to light when family members brought a woman in her 40s to see police in Abbotsford.

Police say the woman, who was known to suffer from depression, had apparent strangulation marks on her neck.

The probe led police to recommend a charge of counselling to commit suicide against Kenneth William Carr.

Investigators say Mr. Carr may have been involved in other, similar incidents, and they want to hear from anyone else who may have been counselled to kill themselves.
